• •Onboarding data — Your name, tanning goal, skin type, and session frequency. Stored locally on your device only.

🔧 How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected solely to provide and improve the App's features:

• •Location is used to fetch UV index data from Open-Meteo (a free, open-source weather API)
• •Session data is used to display your progress, streaks, and reports within the App
• •Preferences are used to personalise your experience
• •No data is used for marketing, advertising targeting, or sold to third parties

💾 Data Storage & Security

All personal data including session logs, preferences, and onboarding information is stored locally on your device using secure on-device storage.

• •We do not operate servers that store your personal data
• •We do not have access to your session history or personal preferences
• •Uninstalling the App permanently deletes all stored data
• •Location data is fetched in real time and never stored or logged

🔗 Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• •Open-Meteo — Free open-source weather API used to fetch UV index data. Your approximate location coordinates are sent to their API. View their privacy policy at open-meteo.com

• •Google Play Services — Used for app distribution and in-app review functionality.

📢 Advertising

The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. These ads may be personalised based on your interests using your advertising ID.

• •Ad revenue helps us keep the App free for all users
• •We do not share any personal data directly with advertisers

📍 Location Permission

The App requests access to your device location ("While Using the App" only) for the following purpose:

You can revoke location permission at any time in your device Settings → Apps → UV Tanning Timer → Permissions. Without location access, UV data will not be available but all other features will continue to work.

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control:

• •Portability — Export your session data as CSV from the Reports screen at any time
