1.1 Images

When you use our comic book identification feature, images you capture or upload are sent to our AI service for analysis. These images are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on our servers.

1.2 Usage Data

We collect anonymous usage data including app interactions, scan counts, and feature usage to improve our services through Google Firebase Analytics. This data does not identify you personally.

1.3 Device Information

We may collect device type, operating system version, and app version to ensure compatibility and improve performance.

1.4 Purchase Information

If you subscribe to Premium, purchase transactions are handled by Google Play and RevenueCat. We do not store your payment information.

We use the information we collect to:
• Provide comic book identification, valuation, and grading services
• Process and fulfill subscription purchases
• Improve our AI identification accuracy
• Display relevant advertisements (free users)
• Respond to customer support requests
• Comply with legal obligations

3.1 Google AdMob

We use Google AdMob to serve advertisements to free users. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.

You can manage or revoke your ad consent preferences at any time by visiting our Ad Privacy & Consent page, or from within the app under Profile → Ad Privacy Options.

3.2 Advertising Campaign Measurement

We may link our analytics platform (Google Firebase) to Google Ads to measure the effectiveness of our own advertising campaigns. If enabled, this may share limited analytics and purchase event data (such as whether a purchase occurred and its value) with Google Ads for campaign optimization purposes. This does not share your personal identity, payment details, or app content — only aggregated event and conversion data tied to your device's advertising identifier, which you can reset or opt out of at any time in your device settings.

3.3 Consent for EEA, UK, Switzerland, and U.S. Users

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you will be shown a consent form on first launch (and can revisit it anytime) allowing you to control how your data is used for advertising, in line with GDPR requirements. If you are located in the United States, you will be shown a similar consent flow covering applicable U.S. state privacy laws (such as the CCPA/CPRA), including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information for targeted advertising. Both consent flows are managed through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) and can be revisited at any time from Profile → Ad Privacy Options.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
• AI service providers for image analysis
• Google AdMob for advertising
• RevenueCat for subscription management
• Google Firebase for analytics and app improvement

All third-party providers are contractually required to protect your data.

Your scan history and preferences are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. Images sent for analysis are transmitted securely via HTTPS and are not permanently stored on our servers. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data.

This app is intended for use by individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the app is not directed at or marketed to children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

You have the right to:
• Access your personal data
• Delete your scan history (via app settings)
• Opt out of personalized advertising
• Cancel your subscription at any time
• Contact us with privacy concerns

If you are a California resident or otherwise covered by U.S. state privacy law, you additionally have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising. If you are located in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have the rights afforded to you under GDPR, including access, rectification, erasure, and data portability.

Comic Book Value & Price Guide does not require an account, so most of your data (scan history and app settings) is stored only on your own device. You can delete this data yourself at any time from Profile → "Clear All Scan Data" within the app — this deletes it immediately and permanently.

For data that leaves your device (analytics events via Firebase, purchase records via RevenueCat), you can request deletion by emailing support@nktechsolutions.in with the subject "Data Deletion Request." Please include your device's advertising ID or approximate date of use if known, to help us locate your records.

What is deleted: any analytics events and purchase history tied to your request.
What may be retained: purchase transaction records may be retained for a limited period as required by Google Play's own billing and tax/legal obligations, independent of our own systems.

We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Premium subscriptions are billed through Google Play. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Google Play account settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the 'Last Updated' date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
